Programs

California Online Branch programs have evolved since the branch was established in 2001. We started with chat rooms, then changed to the schedule-free convenience of email list discussions. We primarily use two email lists to send information to our members. The first list is a members list, when a message is sent to this list by a board member, it goes to all members. If a member replies, the reply only goes to the sender of the email.

The second list is the Program list, this list also contains all the member emails. When a message is sent by a board member to this list and a member replies, the reply will go to all the members of the list. The program email list is great for discussing proposed bylaws changes or to do an email discussion of a particular topic.

Currently, the most used way of conducting our programs or meetings is on our branch Zoom account.
