We are one of the hundreds of branches of AAUW. Although we are a California branch of AAUW, a number of our members are from other states as well. Geographical barriers do not define us. We operate through a combination of Zoom meetings and several members-only email lists. Our email “conversations” usually run several days, with members reading and responding at their convenience.

LGBTQIA+ and Gender Justice: What does this mean for us?
Part 2 (Click HERE to watch Part 1)
Monday, February 12th at 6:30 pm
Presented by Oregon and Oregon Online

Emily Evans (she/her)

Join AAUW-OregOregon Online for this interesting and timely topic. Our speaker will be Emily Evans, who received the 2017 AAUW of Oregon Breaking Barriers Achievement Award. Emily was born and raised in Ashland, Oregon. She has dedicated her career to unearthing and dismantling the many ways gender injustice harms us all. From 2014-2021, Emily served as Executive Director of the Women’s Foundation of Oregon. In that role, she brought her passion for dismantling sexism, racism, and other forms of oppression back home to the Pacific Northwest, with the goal of creating true and lasting gender justice in our region.

Because we are joining AAUW-Oregon we must register for this meeting. Please click HERE to register and then you will receive the link.
